Phoenix Bike Trail

Short & Sweet

May, 2022 by oxlilemmiexo

Short ride but the path is well maintained and good scenery along the way. Some of the trail is closed right now and a downside is there weren't any place to stop along the way for coffee or lunch or good view at the end points.

Blackstone River Greenway

Woonsocket to Cumberland

May, 2022 by andrix

Beautiful day on this section of the Blackstone River Greenway. Trail is paved entire way and in very good shape with only a handful of road crossings. There were relatively few walkers/riders (Thursday), some benches along the way, a number of signs with historical write-up and nice views of some waterfalls. Overall an excellent 20 RT ride. Gave it a 4 only because of a few long "average views" stretches. The 195 Davidson Ave, Woonsocket, RI (northern point) address for GPS worked great.

Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway

delightful space amidst the concrete

April, 2022 by 56x8j2sqr9

One of the best ways to see Boston in a green space amidst all the concrete. There are several traffic light/cross walks that interrupt the complete journey but are very easily accessible by foot, bike, wheelchair and stroller. Stop to enjoy some of the signage to see what local/indigenous flowers have been planted.

Fresh Pond Bikeway

1 hour loop

April, 2022 by 56x8j2sqr9

This path extends around the entire reservoir bridging Cambridge & Belmont. It's a lovely 1hour walk, with or without dogs. Sometimes a bit crowded, has a muddy/mulched section which can make ADA/stroller use a challenge, but otherwise lovely. Enjoy!

Garrison Trail

Awesome Engineering

April, 2022 by jessjcrawf

Leisurely bicyclist’s review: I’d give it 5 stars, but it’s a bit loud as you are parallel with I-95 on the Whittier Bridge. As the state’s first trail on/adjacent to the highway and the beautiful Bridge, it’s just very cool engineering. The view of the Merrimack River from the trail/bridge is a singular, beautiful experience. A fun trail for an out and back, or a great part of an Amesbury-Salisbury-Newburyport loop. Suitable for all ages and abilities.
