City of Snoqualmie Centennial Trail Description

Snoqualimie's half-mile, paved trail runs parallel to railroad tracks and SR 202 through downtown. The scenic trail provides a nice break for a short walk or ride. The city's trail also meets the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, which provides over 31 additional miles of trail to enjoy. In addition, there is a train collection along the highway that ends at the old railroad depot, now the Northwest Railway Museum. This is a must-see for any train lover or railroad history buff.

City of Snoqualmie Centennial Trail Reviews

Waterfalls, avalanches & Bear OH MY!!

My friend and I biked a section of the trail yesterday (6/17/08). The trail is gorgeous!! The spring thaw is underway and the waterfalls were breathtaking. We saw a brown bear-yes brown-on the path about two miles from the tunnel entrance. It eventually wandered down the hill and we were able to pass.

The trail currently has a blockage at the avalance area due to--guess what--a small avalanche and low snow pack. We didn't get to go through the tunnel but, hopefully, we will be back--- this time without bears.
