The Browns Creek Bike Path is a paved trail that travels through the far northwestern Los Angeles neighborhood of Chatsworth. Running for nearly 1.5 miles, the path links Sierra Canyon School's Lower Campus in the north with Chatsworth's Amtrak and Metrolink commuter rail station in the south.
The trail follows concrete-bottomed Browns Creek—also known as Browns Canyon Wash—for its entire run. Wildlife is abundant along the path, and a natural-surface horse trail runs along the creek's western side to serve the area's large equestrian community. From the trail's southern end on Lassen Street, continue west just a short distance across the train tracks to reach the northern terminus of the Metro Orange Line Bike Path, which extends southeast all the way to North Hollywood.
There are no official parking areas for the Browns Creek Bike Path, but parking may be found on local cross streets. Be sure to obey any posted parking restrictions.
