The Culver Boulevard Bike Path is a short rail-trail located in a nicely landscaped median park in Culver City and Los Angeles. The trail was built on a former Pacific Electric interurban line—commonly known as the Red Cars after the trolley system's signature livery color—that once connected Culver City to Redondo Beach via Playa del Ray, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach and Hermoso Beach.
Mostly frequented by local residents, the trail is also just long enough to give runners or walkers a good workout. From trail's end in Los Angeles, trail users can continue a short distance on McConnell Avenue to reach the popular Ballona Creek Bike Path.
There are no dedicated parking areas for the Culver Boulevard Bike Path, but parking may be found on local cross streets. Be sure to obey any posted parking restrictions.
