This bike path sits on the east side of Almond Road between Washington Street and Fairfield Lane in Gurnee. The 8-foot wide asphalt path is used by residents as a spot for exercise and recreation, but also as a way for students and staff to commute to school. There are plans to extend the trail north to Grand Avenue.
Lake County boasts over 550 miles of trail, with prominent examples being the Des Plaines River Trail, the Millenium Trail and the North Shore Bike Path.
There is no dedicated parking for this trail.
