The North Branch Riverwalk is a 0.6 mile biking and walking trail located on Chicago's northside along the North Branch of the Chicago River, nestled between Gordon Tech High School and Lane Tech High School. There's potential for expansion via the Addison Underbridge Connection, which will be part of a bigger 6-block riverwalk extension by the Chicago Dept. of Transportation. The trail goes through Clark (Richard) Playlot Park, where there is a boat house that offers canoe and kayak rentals.
There is public transportation via 77 Belmont, 152 Addison or 49 Western buses. Street parking is limited.
I love it because i saw everything and see cool boats and it was not dirty it's so clean and beautiful i have fun and it was awesome
Runs along the river. The park is nice but the trail seems a little dirty with trash around the sides. There are multiple benches along the trail for resting. Not a bad trail, but not a very pretty trail either. So if you’re looking for some sight-seeing as you run then this may not be the ideal spot to run.
