The Hiawatha Trail provides a convenient way to cross Perry's northeastern neighborhoods and provides a connection to Raccoon River Valley Trail, a scenic 89-mile rail-trail.
The east end of the Hiawatha Trail is anchored by Wiese Park, where you'll find a golf course, playground, sports facilities, and the McCreary Community Building. On its west side, the trail ends adjacent to the Perry Public Library and kitty-corner from Caboose Park.
Parking is available on the east end of the trail off Kimble Place, between North Street and McKinley Street. You can also find parking within Wiese Park.
