Stange Road trail connects residents of the Somerset neighborhood in north Ames, to the Iowa State University campus that lies directly south of it. The shared use path sits on the west side of Stange Road, and provides access to residential and commercial areas. It ends on Pammel Drive near the School of Education.
At its north end, the trail intersects with the another shared use path along Bloomington Road.
There is no dedicated parking for this trail.
