Print Friendly MapThis paved, multi-use trail runs along the banks of one of Cave Creek's tributaries and connects to the longer Cave Creek Wash Trail. The Cave Creek Tributary Trail provides access to numerous residences and businesses in Phoenix, especially the commercial strip along Cave Creek Road at the trail's eastern end.
Parking for the Cave Creek Tributary Trail is available in Moon Valley Park (328 W. Coral Gables Drive).
If you are rollerblading, this trail has a fair amount of gravel. If you are an intermediate skater, then it’s probably not a major problem. I can definitely see a beginner taking a few spills.
This off the road pathway features shade, winding concrete surface and tunnels under major roadways. It is a great connector between the cave creek wash trail system along 19th ave and cave creek road or the 51 bike path.
