Great trail for walking your dog, jogging, and biking. 3.6 miles from one end to the other. It is not a loop so you will need to turn around and retrace your steps to get back to the trailhead you parked at. There are 5 trailheads along the route to choose from. There is creek water for your dog to grab a drink from but most of it is along the middle part of the trail. All asphalt with 2 challenging hills, one in each direction of the trail. We live in White House and walk our dog here several times a week.
We rode bikes on this trail today. Started in Triple Creek Park but didn’t ride the entire trail. The trail is mostly concrete but some asphalt and is in good condition. They did a great job putting an underpass in so we didn’t have to cross the intersection of Broadway and Albert Gallatin. We’d ride this anytime we’re in the area. Triple Creek Park also has a great continuation of the trail.
Beautiful trail along the Cumberland River. The trail is paved and gravel. It also links to the Cheatham Damn Park and Campground. This is an older trail and pavement is bumpy and gravel part can be rough. All and all, this is a great trail for cycling or hiking!
This is a great area. This trail is part of the Music City Greenway and links to several areas that provides miles of cycling fun.
This is a great trail! It has access to the Warner Parks trails, lots of neighborhoods with bike lanes and low traffic. Study the local map and you can loop around and easily get in 20 - 30 miles.
The previous comment titled “Ugly” by Tweakhound back in Aug ‘08 is spot-on. My experience was exactly the same. Thoroughly unimpressed.
My husband and I chose this greenway ( Springfield) to try yesterday in celebration of our wedding anniversary ¿¿¿¿. We are new to Trail Link and this is our second trail. It was perfect ! Weather gorgeous doesn’t hurt .¿Some adorable dogs with their people walking and a couple of other cyclists but not crowded at all. Will go back!
The trail is very nice, mostly flat with great scenery.
We started at the dam and rode until the “end” which was beyond what the trail map showed (about 11 miles). The various trail signs said the trail name was “music city trail” which was somewhat confusing. Anyway the trail was all asphalt and smooth…very few bumps along the way! Great ride!
this path is awesome- it curves around a golf course, there are creeks you can play in, there’s pretty bridges. Great for anyone- kids, dogs, walkers, runners, cyclists. Loved this greenway! Doesn’t feel like you’re in Nashville- so much lush nature.
