Print Friendly MapThe Highlands Trail offers a pleasant, 3-mile loop through Lincoln's Highlands neighborhood. Supporting its role as a community connector, the trail traverses Nebraska Technology Park on its south end and, on its north end, a spur off the loop leads to Fredstrom Elementary School. The route also passes the Highlands Golf Course with its sweeping and well-maintained grounds. For longer journeys, the pathway directly connects with the Superior Street Trail.
Parking for the Highlands Trail is available at the golf course and pool off NW 12th Street near NW 10th Street and at Fredstrom Elementary School on NW 10th Street/W. Custer Street.
